Shaddoth wrote:Everyone has to die sometime, right? No one can live "forever". You could be lost in battle, lose the fight against an illness, or simply stop breathing in your sleep. Those in the forces of dark magic however, do not simply "die", they..."fall".
Masters of demons have to write contracts. These contracts dictate EVERYTHING about the relationship between pet and master. But what happens after? Not all contracts are the same. Sometimes, the demon wants something...more... in return for his labor.
What I mean by this: a "reverse" of roles. The master becomes the pet, the pet; the master. Some could say being dominated by a succubus isn't THAT bad, but they aren't the only demon out there.
Shaddoth sadly made one deal, such as those examples above. So badly he needed a companion, his frail body could barely run let alone take forces of enemies. One of his first contracts, with his Felguard, stated it would help Shaddoth to the fullest of it's abilities...but for a price.
"I know you are there....just show yourself." Shaddoth sat at a bonfire atop the Ruins of Lordaeron. For the last several months, Shaddoth has ran. He ran because he was afraid of his past actions coming back to him. He was scared to bring others into his situation.
"All right, but hey. You look prettier from far away." A dark shape came out from behind a building some meters away. As the figure came into the light, it revealed a young man (but dead of course) in a suit of black armor.
"I thought I had more time..." The bonfire crackled, creating a dramatic moment.Shaddoth took a deep breath."Well then, get on with it"
"You know I'm not stupid enough to take you on alone. I'm here to talk. I want to..."The armor-clad gentleman gulped."...know something before it ends."
Shaddoth eyed the man suspiciously." I am not exactly in a place to deny your request...What is it?"
"What will happen to me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Will I...Fall with you?"
"Do you know why I sent you to the Dark Lady in the first place?"
The armor-clad man thought for a second. "Oh, right." He 'blushed' sheepishly."Well that was stupid of me. All right, here I come."
Before Shaddoth could say anything, the shadow of the man was upon him. "Carnamande, why are you doing this? It isn't fair!"
"Isn't fair?!" Carnamande's eyes pulsed a little as he stopped dead in front of Shaddoth. "Do you know how hard it is living like this? Did I ask for this? When I'm done with you, I'm offing myself. This life is simply...unlivable..."
"Don't be a child, boy! Stop saying such angsty things all of the sudden!" Shaddoth raised his hand. "Now shoo, I have more pouting to do."
A force of energy struck Carnamande like a goblin's rocket, knocking the wind out of him. He flew back with the wind for 30 meters before sprawling on the floor like paparus in a storm.
"Look, Seth. It's over. I'm not leaving, you know that. Just...accept fate..." Carnamande withdrew, and raised his rune blade, the sigils shining a hazy blue. "Begone with the wind!"
Carnamande was breaking for Shaddoth in a burst of speed. ' Huh. Faster. Neat. ', Shaddoth thought to himself. He muttered a curse under his breath, and seals of shadow opened on carnamande's body. That didn't stop him.
In a quick cleave, from 5 meters away, a close range wave of shadow was launched at Shaddoth. It hit with the explosive power of Eternalmage's Pyroblast.
Flying back, the injured Shaddoth set the seals to explode, almost destroying Carnamande's left leg. "Just stop it, Carnamande. Leave me be and I won't end you before you can yourself." Shaddoth breathed, he was weak from months of running, and no fighting.
"I'm not just going to leave, I came here to fight, and thats what I'm DOING" Carnamande swung his blade with un-followable speed, parts of his skin seemed to flutter off of the moving arm, however. He winced.
"I'm done playing games. Begone from here and just die...If you TRUELY want to. I brought you into this worl to live life since you died, and you have done nothing but...run from me...do I scare you?" Shaddoth got up, summoning circles swiveled around him. "Am I scary , Carnamande? " The seals grew, and fused into a pentagram of summoning circles. There were six in all: One in the middle, and five making the upside down star's limbs. "How about we both disappear and save with world some oxygen, hmmm?"
...Crap.
A monster. That's all that can be said about what happens next. not an adjective, but a NOUN.
This is the end of Shaddoth's story. I just can't play with him any more, and I really want to RP him out of existance. I have been so inactive, I might as well have quit. I might come back, but as a different Character.
I will finish this whole story by the end of the Christmas holidays. It has been exactly one year and four days since Shaddoth joined the guild (December 20th 2010-December 24th 2011), And the next 4 will be his last.
