Gol'kosh Patrol Reports

#

Pikki looks over her team assignments again and nods. The extent of the human outposts had been a surprise when she had first gotten the report from her agent at Bogpaddle. Apparently they had found a way to avoid the corruption, although with a open access to the harbor, they probably kept their troops fresh. The boat was one she recognized, and the logs the grot, Andorial, had found confirmed the ship's origin and crew. She would look at them more closely upon her return to the Hold. She made a mental note to pull grots for the Ha'gosh to use to test the corruption later in the week... Tonight's patrol had been informative, she would wait to read the reports before she made recommendations to the Ha'gosh and Gar'mak. She decided a quick side trip to Booty Bay may be needed...

*The crudely-written report contains dark red ink stains that suggest that blood was the ink used in this report. The report is titled, NETHERGARDE KEEP*

<---NETHERGARDE KEEP--->

Ur'shok, I have identified three things crucial to our efforts to retain control in the Black Morass:

1. We have gained almost complete control over the Nethergarde Mines. Dreadmaul troops have flooded the area and are slaying miners and defenders alike as I write this. Soon, in due time, the vast ((COMPLETELY FREAKING HUGE)) mine system shall be ours for the taking!

2. Ive identified two individuals that are key to determining the source of Nethergarde's supplies:

- A Stormwind Merchant, gathered by the horses and a large bundle of what seemed to be medical crates. Could be supplier of medicinal drugs and herbs to the Nethergarde troops.

- A Thunderbrew dwarven female, huddled in a carriage and protected by two Nethergarde soldiers. Beer and alcohol are always welcome to the Grin!

3. Ive located a possible Nethergarde ally. I discovered a Wildhammer ambassador in the center tower of Nethergarde Keep. Ritual tattoos on face gave him away. Tried to conceal face --- didnt work.

Still waiting to report more on the Nethergarde Keep progress. just a daily update on the keep itself. Expect another report on Nethergarde Keep in due time!

*There's a single piece of parchment labelled simply, UPDATE, thats now attached to the report of the Nethergarde Keep*

<---UPDATE--->

Im reporting movements of troops from Nethergarde Keep to the Dark Portal, possibly something occuring with the demons in the Outlands that requires reinforcements. Ideal time to strike?

Yes.

Also reporting supplements of food, water, and ammunition by horseback to Nethergarde Keep, with caravan guards bearing the tabard of Stormwind. Conclusion: Stormwind is the primary supplier of Nethergarde's troops.

The report seems to be written in a dark green ink, sugesting it was a plant based pigment used from a swamp

Swamp of Sorrows : The Harborage

Time: 1:15 PM Date: 04/11/12 To: Ur'Shok Pikki From: Grot Andorial

I have scouted out the Harborage not too far from Stonard. I have managed to study from afar to not be seen, but close enough to hate the smell of their camp.

What I have discoverd is this:

1.) It seems that they are part of the draenai race. The two sub species I have identified were the common draenai and the ones called 'Broken'.

2.) Their camp seems to be built for a perminent use of the area. I fear this maybe a problem due to the fact they seem to lie with the Alliance. They have established mailboxes along with a flight master with birds of what the night elves would use.

3.) They seem to be using the area for some sorts of magic that I do not know. No animal dare treads near the camp as my pet Sparky even refused to even get within viewing distance of this place. I fear it may have something involving some kind of experimentation of magics.

4.) The smell of rotten eggs is abundant here. Whatever they eat must be weeks old, maybe its part of their 'healthy diets'. This smell feels a little unatural by all means.

5.) The supplies seem to come on the backs of the birds from and to the flight master. I think if we eliminate him, then they cannot recieve supplies. The riders of the birds are draenai themselves, but I have a feeling it was issued though the Stormwind Army.

I will keep a close watch on this place, they seem harmless now. But, they seem to be hiding something.

Swamp of Sorrows - Misty Reed Strand

Ur'shok, I have scouted my way down to the coast known as the Misty Reed Strand. I have discovered an abandoned pirate encampment overrun by murlocs. After running the murlocs out, I have taken an inventory of the supplies here. Could possibly use as a forward attack post against the Alliance port.

Hoping this finds you rapidly, Calendis Sunchaser

Attached to the report is an inventory manifesto, as follows:

3 Cannons, with gunpowder and cannonballs Bunkhouse with beds for 14, with full arms and armor for 14 men 2 watchtowers, with pirate banners flying overhead 3 tents, full of misc. supplies gun and weapon racks are strewn about the camp

#

Nailed partially over Calendis' report is another one, scratched out and hastily written down in Goblin. It reads:

"I spent much of today scouting Marshtide Watch, you know, that Alliance base we hit up the other day? 'Looks like they've taken the time to get more soldiers, I counted more than 60… I'm thinking' they took our little stroll through their base seriously. It also looks like they've got more supplies too. It was a little odd to me, some of the supplies came by kart, like, on the road. Maybe they're gettin' a little desperate, this is the first I've seen them on the roads. Heh, I tried destroying' a couple of crates when no one was watchin' but to my surprise a group of horses came after me! Can you believe it? Horses, Alliance horses! I know it's a crazy theory, but I think they're trainin' them horses to kill! Anyway, that pretty much sums it up, next I'm gonna' check out some of these goblin settlements, I have my suspicions that they might also be supplyin' those Alliances.
