The young Gnome laid strapped down on the operating table--blindfolded he slowly regained consciousness. The table was poorly welded together with disproportionate slabs of rusted iron. The wrist and ankle fasteners were lined with tiny little spikes as if to deter any occupant from the thought of escaping. A weak light flickered overhead. Water dripped in the distance. The Gnome began attempting to move his head around in hopes to pick up any kind of noise. He was able to barely see out of the bottom of the blindfold towards his feet with one eye. He gasped as he noticed a scraggly Forsaken man with wiry, unkempt green hair and over-sized goggles that hid his eyes. The undead was just staring with an ear-to-ear grin. He didn't move, he just stared and smiled. His smile slowly opened to reveal a set of rotten, jagged teeth. With a series of sniffs, he smelled the foot as if it were an aphrodisiac. The Forsaken began to hurriedly lick the Gnomes foot--treating it as a precious delicacy. Then he slowly stopped licking the dirt covered flesh. The Gnome's pulse increased steadily. He studied the largest toe for a moment before biting down. The Gnome cried out in a guttural scream of pain as he looked down and noticed that his toe was still intact but very bloody--he was missing part of his toenail. The Forsaken let out a high pitch giggle without opening his mouth and stomped his feet on the floor in amusement while he folded his hands. He swished the blood around in his mouth a moment as he steadied his gaze back on the Gnome. The Forsaken adjusted the zoom on his goggles as the smile left his face and a frown was donned. He got up out of the chair and went out of sight of the Gnome's limited view. The Gnome began to panic and suddenly his eyelids became heavy and he slipped back into unconsciousness...
*The ringing deep within my mind—where is it coming from? My head! Oh, my head! Why is there so much pain?! My entire body aches. Is this a dream? This can’t be dream! This throbbing pain is too real! I can’t move!...I can’t move…*
*Stay calm…just stay calm, Tibbix…How did I get here—wherever I am ? The pain, the pain, everywhere hurts!...wait…oh no. That dead man…why?..Where!? Oh, no no no no no. I can’t see anything…pain…my throat…my eyes…my hands….feet…Please, stop…*
Axil Sterling sat at a rickety, makeshift desk annotating something in an old stained book. Every now and then, his graceful, poetic manner would cease as he toyed with the nobs on his goggles—adjusting the aperture of the lense. He would take short breaks from his quill and relax as he listened to the squirming behind him. He paused and thought deeply for a moment and nodded to himself. Without looking at the giant water globule in the corner of the room, he point easily pointed at the creature and he turned the page…

Test Subject 694 has proven difficultly resilient. Walter is administering drowning tests at every quarter hour not to exceed a 24 hour period. If the subject is not completely broken after the final test, then I must move onto Stage 4.
