Blades of the Gol'kosh are the rogues of the Grin who wish to prove themselves as one who upholds the values of the Blacktooth Grin. They carry out regular missions along with their fellow Guardians and Protectors of the Gol'kosh, although there will be usual missions that involve only the Blades. Different missions such as these may vary from simple scouting missions to crucial missions of gathering critical intelligence, or even an assassination mission. Although the Blades serve under the Gol'kosh, they are considered their own unique sub-unit who are allowed to operate outside of the Gol'kosh if they choose to.

Shiv (Grot) -One who bears the rank of Shiv of the Gol'kosh is equal to that of one who is Gol'kosh Committed. One who seeks to become a Shiv must contact the Ur'shok or the First Blade and request to join the Blades of the Gol'kosh. *A Shiv is expected to follow out duties without question. Shivs must also train to their full potential under the Blades and the First Blade in order to learn how to be proficient in the art of sneaking and lurking.

Blade (Grunt, raider) -Blades are those pledge their full loyalty to the Gol'kosh and boldly offer their exquisite skills of sneaking and lurking. One who seeks to earn the rank must first be a Grunt within the Blacktooth Grin and contact the Ur'shok or the First Blade in order to join the Blades of the Gol'kosh. *A Blade is expected to serve under the First Blade and follow out any missions or contracts given to them, whether it be for the Gol'kosh or other units within the Grin. They must also train the Shivs of the Gol'kosh.

First Blade (Leader of the Blades) -The First Blade of the Gol'kosh is the Leader of the Blades as well as the right-hand rogue of the Ur'shok. The First Blade is chosen directly by the Ur'shok, and is viewed by him as the best fit Blade to create missions and contracts for the Blades to fulfill. Whoever bears this rank wear the shadows extremely proficiently and be the most lethal assassin within the Grin. *The First Blade is responsible for reporting all that goes one within the Blades directly to the Ur'shok as well as offer various missions and contracts for the Blades to carry out. Although the First Blade serves the Ur'shok with full loyalty, he/she is able to work with the other units of the Blacktooth Grin.
