He flew into Ebon Hold, were he was made into a Death Knight serving the Lich King before he was released from the Lich Kings grasp by the Knights. He let the thought go, he was here on a mission and to get some answers. He wondered who would know what he needed to find out or at least were to continue looking. Then a thought came to him, ‘Arly she would surly know, she is the who gave me the emblem.’
Making his way to Arly the Death Knight Gnome looked at while sitting upon her horse. “Thuugom what brings you back to the Hold?”
He looked into her gnomish eyes wanting to smash her head in and eat her heart, but he held his ground as the mission was more important. “Arly…” He said as held up the Sigil of the Dark Rider “…I want to know where Gul’dans Dark Riders are at!” He put in a tone that he wasn’t going to take no for answer.
She laughed heartily at him “Oh Thuugom, Gul’dans Dark Riders are long gone.”
He glared at her ready to slice her in half “Tell me what you know of them, Arly.”
“Now Thuugom…” She sighed at him “…why do you want to know this information?”
“Gar’mak wants to know!” He stated pointedly to her, knowing that the mention of the Gar’mak would strike fear into her as he is a disciple of Gul’dan.
Her eyes grew wide, “Gar’mak wants to know? Why didn’t you say so? I tell you what, I need to gather the information for you. It will take some time, so how about you stay here and in the morning I’ll give you what you need. Sound good?”
He narrowed his eyes “Yes that will be fine.”
He went to find a place to sleep for the night, he knew the town below the Hold still had some buildings left standing. He flew down there and found an old inn to stay at. He made his bed, if it could be called one and went to sleep.
They rode in the darkness of the night, crossing the bridge that linked Deadwind Pass to Duskwood. Stopping short of Darkshire, they looked upon it as it was not their target and rode around the town. On their way westward, there was a lone drunken farmers hand outside Yorgen Farmstead, it would his last night enjoying the drink as his head was severed off by the lead rider. They proceeded into the farm and began slaughtering the animals, there blades tasting the fresh blood and wanting more.
A light flickered on within the farm house, taking their blades out of the animals. “Kill the adults and the leave the child to me.” A gruff voice pronounced. The others grunted in response as they made their way to the house.
“Who is there?” said the man standing at the door of his home with a sword in hand. He looked out over his farm saying “Who is ou…” his voice was lost as the Death Grip wrapped around his neck and his body pulled out over the farm. He didn’t see who had did this for as he stopped he felt the edge of a blade cut through his body. Looking up at his legs, still standing in place, fear overcame him as he knew death was near. A figure stepped over him with deep blue eyes and a grin upon his face.
He walked past the body of the farmer and headed to the house as the rest tore the body apart and began to drink the blood. He walked into the house sniffing the air; he knew the child was here. He smelled her scent and worked his to a room upstairs. Looking at the closest, he opened the door, looked down at the little girl, probably no more than 18 years, her eyes with fear looked upon him “Little one you have nothing to fear.” he said in a gruff voice, he grinned after noticing that she had wetted herself.
“You have but one thing to do, when the sun comes up, you run…you run and you tell everyone in Duskwood of what you saw tonight. You tell them that Gul’dans’ will shall prevail here and that his Dark Riders are now in control the area.” He grabbed the scruff of her neck and pulled her head back. Reaching into his bag, with his other hand, he grabbed a flask, opening it, he poured down her throat ensuring she drank all of it. Within seconds of drinking it, her eyes shut as she went into a deep sleep and he left her where she laid.
He pulled out a gem and it began to glow, “It is done my Lord.” He spoke out loud.
“Is she the only one left alive?” a voice from gem responded.
“Yes my Lord.” He replied.
“Good, then go back to Deadwind Pass to the keep and wait for your orders.” The voice said as the glowing gem faded.
“As you wish my Lord.” He said knowing that his lord wasn’t listening anymore.
He awoke the next morning after the vision he had, he wondered if Deadwind Pass was where he was suppose to go. But first he had to get the information from Arly, so he flew back to the Hold and found her.
“Ahhhh Thuugom there you are. I have the information you need. They were last known to be in Deadwind Pass, Teron Gorefiend was the first of Gul’dans Death Knights. You must go there and you will find more information for what you need.” She looked up to him.
‘I might just kill you and eat your heart.’ He thought as he said “Thank you Arly, the Gar’mak will be pleased.
He left the Hold and began his way to Deadwind Pass, but first he must let the Soul Flayer know of what he has found.
