The bow was slung lazily over the Forsaken's back as she walked with the wind behind her pushing her forward. A large ghost snow leopard and a spirit wolf walked besides her. Their paws making soft clumping sounds as their padded feet kept pace with hers. She did not look up to see where she was going, she did not need to although she could smell water. Where was she now? "Sand. Sun. Heat. Death..." She reached automatically to her side where her water skin had once hung then when her fingers only touched her belt she lowered her hand once again to swing lazily at her side. A small sad smirk spread acrossed her face, "Oh yes. I had forgotten for a moment." Eshe looked up at her master and growled softly in her throat at her. Lenae simply shook her head. Limbo seemed deep in thought. His nose almost touching the ground with his eyes closed. The wind stopped abruptly as did Lenae. "You have killed me once before, I dont expect you to do it again." She crouched now, in a familure squating position she use to use to track trails when she was alive and let her fingers trace the ground in front of her and as she reached forward, heard the sharp whistling of the wind and felt the drop off of a cliff with the edge of her fingers. "So thats why the wind has dropped. And why I smell water. Eshe, where are we? I do not recall this mass of water being here." She rose and fingered the bow on her back as she turned her ear to the wind to listen. Eshe looked over the edge and her green eyes lit up. "It is.. It was, Thousand Needles." She sat down on her haunches and scoffed at what had become of it. "Why must it be water?" Lenae ignored her cat as she turned her blank face to Limbo. He still had his nose almost touching the ground but was sitting now opposite of Eshe. He did not speak yet. "I never did understand why such a vast wasteland filled with rocks and sand was called Thousand Needles anyways. Now that it has flooded the name makes even less sense. Do you feel anything living?" She continued to face her wolf, but not watching. A low whisper like growl came up from the ground now, "There is a small boat with Goblins and Gnomes alike living apon it. But they seem to always be in a hussle over it." Lenae turned to face the water again. "They live together? How much more will my feeble mind be able to take before it implodes with all this change." Eshe rolled her eyes at her master's sarcasm. "But still... Why is it leading me this way? I have nothing ahead of me. I never needed the Barrens before. Why do I need it now?" She raised her hand as the wind whipped itself around her, ruffling her hair and making the mail on her armor clink together like chimes. A huge bone grinding screech called down and when her fingers touched the leather strap her hand clenched tightly around the harness of her bone drake. Eshe and Limbo jumped gracefully onto its back as Lenae threw her leg swiftly over his side. The wind pushed them forward as the large bone wings pushed grand amounts of the air behind them, propelling them forward swiftly and steadily across the waters. Lenae sat quietly as the sounds of the waters being rocked back and forth under them flying above it. She knew the sun was beating down on her, but didnt really feel it.

She sat outside on the plains of the Barrens, her deathcharger pawed the ground under her. She felt his bones grinding against each other and wondered if her mount felt the pain of it. She frowned at the thought of her companions suffering to be hers. She turned her head to Eshe. "Are you in pain when you live this way?" Eshe tilted her large head up at Lenae, "No... Of course not." Lenae's frown deepened. "You would lie to me Eshe if it came down to you being in pain." Eshe sat down and lowered her ears. "I would not. I did not follow you dumbly. I knew what was to become of me when you died. As did your drake and horse. We are a part of you and our alliegence is only to you and what you command. We do not feel our own pain but we share one." She looked her owner in the face looking for the eyes she use to stare into to speak to her but forgetting and finding none she sighed and looked down and contiued to talk aloud. "We are one. Now stop worrying and lets contiue this wild goose chase." She growled a small laugh at the thought of a wild goose in the Barrens.

Limbo had faded away when they landed in the Barrens as her drake once again took flight. She was lucky to have a beast to close to both sides of the world. It helped her. She stayed lost in thought as her charger walked slowly forward with the wind. She listened to the large punding steps of the Thunder Lizards and then the quick fleeting strides of the Gazelle. She passed by the careful steppings of the Giraffe. "We approach others." Eshe said stopping as the wind died. Lenae looked ahead of her and felt the charger under her shake its falling out mane. She pushed onward. If this was what the wind called for, this is what she would do. "Why do you tread apon Grin's lands Forsaken?" The tone had a slight malice to it and Lenae was taken about. "Grin? What is Grin." She turned her head and sensed the pressance of four people. A shaman two hunters and a rogue. She did not feel very threatened by any but the rogue. "And what do you mean their lands? I did not know such a wild vast amount of land could be claimed by one clan." Eshe let her claws out of their hidden flap of skin and felt them dig into the earth as she waited. Lenae on the other hand stood quietly, showing no harm. "Why are you here then?" The Shaman again spoke. "I follow the wind. It tells me where I must go. And it stopped here." She heard the Shaman sit back down and she felt him staring at her. "I guess you can stay for the night then as long as you dont cause trouble." Lenae got off her mount and patted him on the side. "I normally dont." She sat down besides the group, her bones creaking and Eshe layed besides her. "You follow the wind and talk to animals. And yet you are a forsaken. You are peculare Ash Born." Lenae smiled. "I like that.... Ash Born."
