Pikki wiped down the counter. The crowd last night had been rowdy and she had kicked several out this morning who had slept under the tables. She tossed the rag in the bucket and walked over to shut and lock the door. She would be packing up and moving the Mad Grin, the team she hired for the move would be here shortly.
She had secured a place, but had planned to hold a bit on reopening, there were some things she needed to look into. The one she had hired - normally a good operative, had disappeared. He had last reported from Orgrimmar, said he had picked up some info and was headed to follow it up. She cautioned her people to be frugal with details on any messages they sent, as there was always the possibility of interception. She worked too hard to keep her operation tight for a slip like that to blow the whole wad.
She would have to follow up herself, as the mission was too delicate to entrust to anyone else. She trusted very few, and those she did had little awareness of what she had going.
She walked to the back, and slipped the latch on the door. She had instructed the crew to pack up and store the stuff in Shattrath. No one went there so it would be safe for a the time being.
The Pub had been a sweet deal, she was sorry to have to close it down. Unfortunately, someone had made a comment to the wrong person and she had noticed a couple of sober, neatly dressed, clean type patrons hanging around recently. The blabbermouth had been found quickly enough to avoid more damage. He had been shown his tongue, outside his mouth and then both had been trussed and tossed into a shallow hole in the Badlands. Wolves had made quick work and had left enough evidence to discourage any further loose talk.
It had been sometime since she had checked up on the Grin. She had stayed clear, but had been updated regularly, to give this new guy a chance to make...or break his mark. She had word of some happenings and on her way to Orgrimmar, would check in...quietly.
She had too many irons burning to get embroiled in the politics again. But Garrosh had made it difficult to stay clear of it. She had little interest in the Pandyland mess... she had contacted someone about stuffing and mounting a couple of the pandas that had been found snooping around. She would use them as decoration in the new place. She would check out the place though, to see if the sops could be milked. Her focus was on the Grin, Orgrimmar, her operation and whatever gold she could squeeze out of the deal.
She grabbed her pack and blades and without a backward glance whistled for her mount.
