Orthunk stood flanked by Kor'kon elite guards in Garrosh's chamber. The Warchief of the Horde looked at him from his throne, his head barely meeting the level of Mannoroth's tusks.
"So, Orthunk Snaggletooth, Sythegar of the Blackooth Grin Clan. I am pleased you accepted my invitation."
Orthunk grinned and glanced at the score of guards surrounding him on all sides. "We both know I did not have much of a choice. Your guards presence in Stonard was... unexpected."
Garrosh laughed. "It was important to get you back to Orgrimmar safely. I could not have a veteran of the Horde like you slain in transit between the realms."
"I believe my titles and my scars show that such a danger is not relevant to me, Garrosh."
"Fine. Fine. I give you the option, again, Orthunk. Leave the Grin and I will make you the Captain of the Kor'kons!"
Orthunk laughed loudly. "Do not be so foolish as to offer thrice, Garrosh. Youngling, you show more weakness than you know."
Garrosh grinned. "Few would dare talk to me with such impudence, Sythegar."
"Few are begged to command your forces."
Garrosh nodded. "So be it," he growled. "As we both know, the Horde and the Grin have been at odds since the end of the last war. In the recent months, you have shown me the power of your Grunts and Raiders, and I believe I have shown you I am no... what did you call Thrall, a Peacechief? Yes. I am no Piecechief."
Orthunk nodded. His back felt bare and vulnerable without Sul'Thraze the Lasher strapped to it. The Guards had "confiscated" the weapon until the meeting was over.
"I will invite you to be a councilor in the matters of our conquest of Pandaria, serving as a veteran amongst our Kor'kon."
"Invited, just as you invited me here, Garrosh Hellscream, Whelp-Lord?"
"DO NOT MOCK ME!" Garrosh cried, his face turning a dull, ashy gray. Orthunk narrowed his gaze as he watched the Warchief's red skin shift colors. Garrosh breathed slowly, and continued, "Many would die for this honor, Orthunk. But, as you have served me well in battles, and you have seen wars beyond me, I will do you more. The Horde will begin supplying the Blacktooth Grin with weaponry and provisions. Yes, do not look startled, our crows are everywhere, Orthunk. We know of your residence in the Path of the Conquerors. There is a small village named One-Keg just to the south of the Summit, and it is there we will send you a steady stream of armaments to aid your own purposes in Pandaria."
Orthunk growled. "I do not like being forced into deals, Garrosh."
"But you also know a good one when you see it."
"What, then, do you want us to do?"
"Tol Barad."
"Tol Barad?" Orthunk asked, surprised.
"Yes," Garrosh said in a low voice. "The Horde cannot span across all of Azeroth, right now. We must focus on our Conquest. However, Tol Barad is still of monumental importance, and we have left it all but too vulnerable for the Alliance. Take your Grunts, and when the gates of Tol Barad open, crush the Alliance!"
The guards behind Orthunk parted. The old Sythegar did not turn around. "Provisions for us in Pandaria," he said, slowly. "And your request is that we maintain control over Tol Barad, slaying any Alliance resistance."
"Yes," Garrosh said as he nodded.
"I will bring the blood and thunder."
